My photos are shot on 35mm film with Olympus cameras: OM2n and OM4t along with Zuiko and Soligor lenses. The transparencies are then scanned (converted digitally) to allow for digital darkroom adjustments.
Typically these adjustments are fairly minor such as dust and scratch removal . Due to imperfections of the transfer process (both scanning and printing) other adjustments are sometimes needed to bring back the colors and balance of the original transparency. There are no artificial lighting or other special effects applied to my images.
My intent is to make the prints as close to the original film as possible or when the medium is too limited, as close to the mood that I was trying to record on film.
Once I have completed my digital darkroom work, my digital images are transferred back to the traditional photographic process via a Chromira Laser Light enlarger. The Chromira exposes the image on Fuji Crystal Archive Paper and then is processed normally. Fuji Crystal Archive Paper is archival rated to last more than 60 years without fading.
